Episode summary

Jo visits the Evans Family in Houston, Texas. After his wife Jennifer died from breast cancer, Gary (37) is left alone to raise his three rambunctious boys: 6-year-old Michael, 4-year-old Sean and 3-year-old Dylan. Jo Frost sympathizes with the family, seeing as how her own mother died of breast cancer.

Jennifer was a stay at home mom and the anchor of this family. After her death at 32, Gary had to leave his job and retire earlier because it was just too much for him to handle.

Gary can't bring himself to discipline his sons or enforce the rules. The boys act out, fight and scream and yell all the time. When Jennifer was alive she had successfully taught the two older boys how to be potty trained in her before Dylan isn't even potty trained yet and the boys are picky eaters and only eat snacks throughout the day.

When Jo first arrives at the Evans home, Michael Evans becomes upset about the death of his 32-year-old mother. Jo also tries to keep Jennifer's memory and spirit together alive by putting lots of photos of her onto a DVD slideshow to show the whole family. Jo also tries to make the kids eat healthy food again.

When Sean acts up over not getting any sugar and Jo puts him in the Naughty Spot for 4 minutes for the first time, a standoff takes place. Can Jo help this grieving and mourning family out?
